A Greener SickKids. Healthier Children. A Better World. This statement, which is our environmental sustainability vision, says it all. SickKids is working to protect the health of children in every sense of the word, and this includes the health of the planet they live on. Achieving this lofty goal requires engaging our community on all levels, starting with our staff. This year’s ride brought together staff from all corners of our organization: from Plant Operations to Mental Health, from Nursing to Research, we had folks come out to ride in support of sustainability and climate action. Together, we took a leisurely ride through Downtown Toronto, enjoying scenic views of Lake Ontario.
